Thank you

A Special Thank You From Chef Wards!

by Chef Wards

I hope you’re reveling in family time, new presents and lots of leftovers! With 2017 on the horizon, I can’t help but reflect on the past year. For The Austin Artisans, it’s been full of surprises. We’ve welcomed new employees, new clients and new services. We’ve continued to work with long-time clients, catered your special events and even won a few awards. To sum up 2016, I would say that it was awesome.

When I sit back and think about how much a person (or a company) can accomplish in 365 days, it’s pretty mind blowing. And I know that we wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for you—our loyal fans and customers. I am truly grateful to each and every one of you for inviting us into your homes and your lives. I thank you for allowing us to cook, teach and entertain you, because it’s what we live for!

As we plan for next year, I’m so excited for more adventures to come. Some of what you can look forward to…

A Taste of 2017:

  1. Many more seasonal, customized meals for our Austin families
  2. Cooking classes and demonstrations
  3. Ultimate cooking competitions
  4. Entertainment-style events
  5. Wine and beer pairings
  6. Chef secrets, regularly featured on our blog
  7. New members of our Artisan crew (yep, we’re hiring!)
  8. Good food and good fun… because that’s what it’s all about!

Of course, if you have any suggestions or feedback, we’d love to hear from you. Feel free to contact us and let us know what you think.

Until next time, enjoy the rest of the holiday season and have a very Happy New Year! May it be the best (and most delicious) yet.

With thanks,

Chef Michael Wards

PS: If you’re looking to wow your guests on New Year’s Eve, check out my Apricot Braised Pork Shoulder recipe. Prepare it a day in advance, so you can make an accompanying sauce—and so you can enjoy the party with your friends!
